WHO WE ARE
Tim co-founded ART HK – the Hong Kong International Art Fair in 2008 ART HK quickly became a major fixture of the international art world, and in 2011 Art Basel acquired a majority stake in the Fair. More recently, furthering his interest in emerging art trends and markets, Tim founded Art13 London, and launched Sydney Contemporary in 2013.
Sandy is Chairman of Angus Montgomery Ltd and was a co-founder of ART HK. Sandy is a Director of India Art Fair, and in 2013 co-founded ArtInternational, Istanbul’s newest art fair, as well as co–founding Art13 London. 2014 has seen the founding of Photo Shanghai, the first international art fair dedicated to photography in Asia-Pacific.
Will is the founder of the PULSE Art Fairs which are staged annually in New York and Miami. He was a co–founder of ART HK and is a director of India Art Fair. Will is also founder of the Affordable Art Fairs, which are staged in a variety of cities across the world.
Charles was Managing Director of ART HK since the fair’s inception in 2007 and was solely responsible for developing the fair’s successful marketing and sponsorship initiatives. He played a pivotal role in ART HK’s collaboration with Art Basel, and has been the Managing Director of Art Central, Taipei Dangdai and ART SG since their inception.
Shuyin started her career in art at Christie’s auction house, working in London, Singapore and Hong Kong for over six years and contributing world record prices for Southeast Asian art. She then joined a contemporary art gallery as a director of the Singapore space, helping to develop their gallery program and art fair strategy.
SENIOR OPERATIONS MANAGER
Rosie’s background degree was in Art History. Her first experience of an art fair was working as an Operations Assistant on the first Sydney Contemporary in 2013. Since then she relocated to London where she has worked across a variety of industries with different events. This includes three art fairs in London. She is now the Senior Operations Manager for Art Central.
VIP RELATIONS MANAGER
Joyce joins the team from Christie’s where she has spent the past six years working in Client Strategy across Hong Kong, Shanghai and London. Prior to this she worked in Business Development from P3 Publishing (Hong Kong), Multicultural Audience Development at the Metropolitan Museum of Art (New York) and in Editorial at Vogue China (Beijing). Joyce is trilingual in English, Cantonese, Mandarin, and holds a BA from Columbia University, New York and a MA from SOAS, University of London.
Emma began her career working in Melbourne’s art scene before relocating to Singapore in 2014 to lead the operations for an international gallery. In this role she contributed to projects and exhibitions including collaborations with international museums, art fairs and cultural organisations. She joins Art Central in 2018.
Eliza has been in the events industry for the previous 5 years, working on a large range of Exhibitions to parties within various industries globally. With her love of Art at core with a Business Management degree, she is passionate about creating a successful unstoppable Fair for 2019. With 2 years experience working on Sydney Contemporary and multiple events’s over the years, she is now the Operations Manager for Art Central.
Possessing a background in design, Katy began applying her passion towards art by working in an art gallery. She later joined an exhibition design project as a project assistant in order to play an administrative role in the arts and design industry. Katy is currently devoting her full attention to Art Central as its Fair Coordinator.
