HOCA: Meditation Inside Jeongmoon Choi's Art Installation

HOCA Foundation has invited korean meditation teacher Maggie Huh to host a series of meditation classes inside Jeongmoon Choi’s installation.  When entering the darkened room viewers are confronted with an interplay of surfaces and lines and initially disoriented. They then quickly find access to one of the many possible perspectives and enjoy it finally to be able to engage in ever new ways of perceiving.  In the meditation session, Maggie Huh engages your Qi with hers to awaken your senses. As her Qi releases, your brain waves will rapidly drop to a meditative state. This unique opportunity will allow you to embark on a sensual journey of self-awareness and inner peace inside an immersive art installation.  The session starts with a relaxation phase and ends with positive visualization. Participants will feel refreshed, recharged and reinvigorated after the practice.

100% of the proceeds will go to HOCA's future projects.

Date and Time: 29th March - 19th April, varying times.

Locations: Hart Hall, 3/F Cheung Hing Industrial Building, 12P Smithfield Road, Kennedy Town (MTR Kennedy Town station Exit A).
