The Lonesome Changing Room, presented by Contemporary by Angela Li (Hong Kong)

By constructing a changing room-like, private environment within a public space, the artist Chan Wai Lap and performer Chan Wai Lok invites the audience to reinvestigate the relationship between individuality and the community in response to the pandemic. The exhibition is an integration of the artist’s research and personal experience. It presents an opportunity for visitors to act as intruders to the artist’s or other people’s privacy, creating an intimate dialogue.
